Winter Lookbook | FEMME 2014/15

It's that time of season again! This winter's lookbook is full of 3 chic and stylish winter looks to get you through the cold winter season in style, who said you had to look bad bundled up in a coat? Anyhow, below you'll find my inspirations, the costs of each look and a complete shop list, so enjoy!

:: Look #1 - Early Winter ::

  • Ash Grey Fedora - NEXT (UK) - £10
  • Gunmetal Cross Earrings - Primark (UK) - 50p
  • Knit Sweater - Edae Market (SK) - ₩30,000
  • Bondage Top - Rocky Horrors (UK) - £35
  • 2-Way Leather Purse - Yeongdeungpo Station (SK) - ₩10,000
  • Charcoal Jeans - Blue Asphalt (UK) - £??
  • Suede Heels - YesStyle.com - $27
This first outfit was designed for those warmer days at the end of autumn and start of winter. The heels and the bondage top still allow for a chic and feminine look, while the sweater provides warmth. The baggy sleeves of the sweater also allows for a comfortable fit and slightly softer appearance.

This outfit was mainly inspired by Californian winter fashion, because, well, I like California! It doesn't get too cold there in winter so it still allows for you to be stylish and cozy.

:: Look #2 - Mid-Winter ::

  • Fashion Week Beanie - Hongdae Market (SK) - ₩5,900
  • Angel Wing Earrings - H&M (UK) - £??
  • Red Scarf - Forever 21 (US) - $??
  • Long Black Coat - Hongdae Market (SK) - ₩78,000
  • 2-Way Leather Purse - Yeongdeungpo Station (SK) - ₩10,000
  • Grey Turtleneck - Gangnam Station (SK) - ₩5,000
  • Wine Skater Skirt - Gangnam Station (SK) - ₩5,000
  • Boyish Leather Boots - Gangnam Station (SK) - ₩65,000
This second outfit is definitely 10000% Korean style, or more specifically Hongdae style. As I'm sure many of you know, Hongdae is the home of fashion in Korea and right now, (over the knee) long jackets, beanies and boyish boots are trending like crazy right now, it's something every fashionista has here. Also this beanie has the 'Seoul, Paris, New York, London, Milan, Tokyo' Fashion Week print that has been really trending recently too.

For a more personal touch, I added this two way purse, which you can remove the shoulder strap to make into a clutch (as in Look #1.) Personally both Hanzel and I are really big fans of clutches and small bags recently so I love this one since it can be used in more than one way.

:: Look #3 - Late Winter ::

  • Spiky Wool Hat - DressLily.com - $12
  • Dangling Spike Earrings - Primark (UK)- £1
  • Star Pendant Necklace - N.Cat (SK) - ₩2,000
  • Plaid Scarf - Hongdae Market (SK) - ₩10,000
  • Asymmetric Wool Coat - DressLily.com - $33.50
  • 2-in-1 Leather Belt - DressLily.com - $6.50
  • Loose-fit Pullover - Hongdae Market (SK) - ₩27,000
  • Charcoal Jeans - Blue Asphalt (UK) - £??
  • Suede Heels - YesStyle.com - $27
The thing I hate most about winter is when it gets so cold that you have to cover you nice outfit with a horrible bulky coat to keep work when you go out, so I figured: why not just get a really stylish coat too? I love this coat because not only is it stylish, because it's made out of wool, it is extremely warm despite being so thin, so you don't feel restricted when wearing it.

Also to reduce bulky layers, I went with a thick, loose-fitting pullover to keep me warm underneath too. Coupled with the thick matching scarf, you have the option to take off your jacket and keep warm if the weather picks up slightly due to the coming spring. This outfit was definitely inspired most by MODE-kei with its use of asymmetric shapes and monochrome tones.

:: Shop List ::

That's all from me this season~ in future we hope to include OOTDs from the previous season in our lookbooks too so you guys have more inspiration for your personal fabulous style. But for now, what did you think of the 3 outfits I showed you today and which is your favourite? Be sure to leave a comment and I'll see you in Spring!
