If you're a cross-player, cross-dresser or genderqueer then you're probably already very familiar with popular chest binder brands like Underworks, T Kingdom and LesLoveBoat, or maybe you prefer the cheaper eBay options? Regardless, you've probably also heard the hype over the GC2B binders that have recently become available, but are they really worth the hype?

Their half binder is available for $33 USD and the tank binder for $35; they also both come in 5 colours (Black, Grey, White, Blue & Red) and a multitude of sizes ranging from XXS to 5XL, though sizes from 2XL onward are slightly higher priced.
They're based in Maryland but they ship to various countries around the world and they accept exchanges but not returns.
:: My Buying Experience ::
I found out about GC2B though a FTM friend posting a photo of his purchase on Instagram, I was actually quite shocked at how well the binder seemed to work on his slightly bigger build so it wasn't long before I found myself looking at other reviews on the GC2B Instagram page. But of course, I knew that no smart company would post bad reviews of their product. It only took two more of my friends purchasing from them with good results to convince me to buy my own.
I looked up the GC2B website and measured my self according to their sizing chart, and came out as 33 inches which fits nicely in their 'S' size range; however I did miss their warning saying to go a size up if you have slightly broad shoulders, so low-behold when the binder arrived, I couldn't get into it. I'd already heard that the binders were hard to put on since they didn't have any fastening but it simply wasn't possible, so be sure to read the fine print!
It was my fault but I was utterly distraught and disappointed, I do also feel the warning could have been made a bit bolder on the website. Anyhow, I checked their website and it said they accept exchanges within 7 days of your receiving your binder, however as I was ordering from the UK there was no one my package could arrive in time. Fortunately, the customer service was absolutely wonderful, I messaged them explaining my case and they got back to me within 24 hours saying they'd still be willing to accept my exchange request as long as the binder was in good condition.
I sent the binder back and within a week of them receiving and evaluating it, they gave me a coupon code for the $35 I'd originally paid for my binder and I was able to order a size M instead. Unfortunately the return and exchange shipping both had to come out of my pocket (though the shipping charge was very reasonable) as well as the customs charge I got on the first binder (but strangely not the second - most of my friends haven't encountered any customs charges either.) Anyhow, all in all, the exchange process was very quick and the customer service gets a 5 star rating from me!
:: My Binding Experience ::
Not only is the binder great at binding, but it's also extremely comfortable! It's a bit hard to get into the binder at first but after a couple of wears you start to get the hang of it; for me personally it's getting it off that's the hard part. However, once its on, there's practically nothing else you need to do, no rearranging or shifting your chest underneath, it just goes on like a tank top and you're ready to go. It's also slightly on the long side so its perfect even for you taller guys!
The material is also very smooth/soft and breathable, even after hours of wear there's no need to re-position your chest, no under-boob sweat, no chafing or itchiness, and no mini-cleavage line at the top either; it's almost perfect! I even fell asleep in it once; yes, I know sleeping in binders isn't recommended but we all fall asleep in the car or on long train journeys from time to time, so it's impractical not to be able to take a short nap. In the past I'd feel breathless and suffocated when I woke up but when I took a nap in this binder I found absolutely no discomfort at all.
If I had to make any complaints about this binder it would be the fact that it is so difficult to get off and the thick straps make it hard to hide under a tank top or low rise T-shirt, but besides that I can't find anything else wrong with this binder.
:: Final Verdict ::
All in all, I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of in investing in one, especially as they're a bit cheaper than the other big brands and in my opinion, work a lot better! I'll definitely be purchasing from them again (maybe I'll review one of their half binders in future.)
Anyhow, that's all for my review today, if you have any questions be sure to leave them below and hit 'like' on this post if you enjoyed it~ until next time ladies, gents and everyone in between!
