[Discussion] Success-haters

Seriously what is with people hating someone because they are successful? No one wakes up bathing in success, tonnes of fans, or mad skills, or having their name known. They work to get there! And what’s more, they’re probably still working to improve themselves.

Maybe instead of comparing and being like ‘what’s the point when XYZ is so great?’ why not get off your ass and actually WORK. Before you start to envy someone for where they are, remember how they got there and that at one point, they were exactly where you are now. 

Likewise, if people hate on you for being good at something then keep going! At least you know you’re doing something right == haters are just affirmation that you have something unique that they wish they had!

So tired of people around me and even me myself being treated like shit/bitched about because we’re actually willing to get off our asses and make something of ourselves…

[Article] Dansou Josei! Style, Fashion, Lifestyle?

Recently a lot of good things have been happening in the dansou world, as well as in BOKUTACHI, so I thought I’d share another one with you guys! 

Here is an article written all about dansou on a tomboy blog, including an explanation of dansou, some background on how it’s grown in popularity recent, some need-to-know dansou names, and a mini-interview with each of the BOKUTACHI members. 

I think it’d be a good article for all of you to read, even I learnt something from it (and I think I may have FINALLY found a style role model) so I highly recommend it. It makes me proud to see dansou and BOKUTACHI becoming more and more known. 

[MEGA-SPAZZ] We’re Gonna Be in Japanese Magazine “Garçon Girls”!!!

Okay, so I have to go back a little bit to explain exactly what’s going on, but if you want a quick summary: there is like a 99.9% chance that some of our BOKUTACHI members and I are going to be in a brand new Japanese magazine, (dedicated to dansou,) called “Garçon Girls”!! ﾟДﾟ Here’s how this all occurred… 

So, on the 8th of October, this unnatural phenomenon took place in the facebook dansou group:

In case you don’t understand, in most Japanese magazines dedicated to a specific look, they usually have a page where they post picture of reader who follow that look, so they were asking us to send in pictures.
